Visa Requirements
Citizens of Mongolia are
required to apply for a visa to enter Switzerland. The Consulate of Switzerland in Mongolia does not issue visa to Switzerland. Therefore, the applicant must submit your application forms and other supporting documents to the Visa Section of the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing.
Application forms can be obtained at the Embassy/Consulate General or by downloading and printing the visa application form. However, the Embassy/Consulate General can only accept hardcopies of the application form which are duly filled in and signed; any forms sent to us through e-mail will not be treated.
Applicants with official passports (diplomatic passports, service passports, passports "for public
affairs") apply for their visas via the competent department for Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Ministry or Commission. Holders of ordinary passports are required to apply in person.
If the main destination cannot be determined, the application should be made to the embassy of the country in which the longest visit shall be.
If the visits in different Schengen countries are of equal length, the first destination shall be the determining factor.
There are different types of visa that you need depending on the purpose of trip. Therefore, in an email, explain the purpose of the trip to Switzerland and the visa section at the Swiss embassy will advise you on what type of visa you need to apply for. Please address your letter to Visa Section.
